The acp GmbH was founded in
Stuttgart, Germany in 1997. The company was formed by the Fraunhofer
Gesellschaft at the Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and
Automation Technology (FhG-IPA) with a vision of converting
scientifically-designed concepts into cost-optimized high-tech
solutions.

 Today,
the acp GmbH is a provider of the latest process technologies for
surfaces. As well as supplying solutions for
cleaning surfaces using the patented acp CO2 snow-jet technique, the
company which is now based in Esslingen, Germany also provides
solutions for the direct measurement of particulate and filmic
contamination on surfaces and also for dispensing media on surfaces. |
We supply our customers with
technological knowhow ranging from the preliminary testing of new
applications, investigating and realizing specific solutions right up to
providing after-sales support. Working together with our cooperation
partner, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and
Automation (FhG-IPA), ensures that our customers gain access to extensive
scientific tests and analyses. |

Products
and Services |
The product
range Cleaning Technologies covers
CO2-based Cleaning Systems in particular. A
likewise patented process enables for a dry, environmentally sound as well
as a residue- and solvent- free cleaning process which is highly flexible
and safely applicable. Fields of application reach from the precise cleaning
of small components over preliminary purification prior gluing processes to
the cleaning of circuit board connectors during manufacturing.
Regarding performance and consumption the underlying CO2 jet technology is
beyond the world competition.
The product branch Inspection Technologies
provide Systems to directly detect particles as well as structures in
technical surfaces. The provided inspection solutions permit a high
resolution surface inspection which is based on the patented
glancing light technology.
The product branch Micro Dispensing Technologies
offers Micro-Dispensing Systems to precisely apply and handle viscous media
in a flexible and economical way aiming to a wide range of applications.

The former division
Information Technologies was outsourced in the incorporated acp IT AG in
2001. Today this company is a provider of innovative software solutions in
the area of computer integrated manufacturing.

Research
results and research investigations can easily be converted through our
close cooperation with the Fraunhofer Society into market-driven products.

That
way the acp GmbH is supporting the Fraunhofer IPA in the realization of
the cleanroom suitability test in accordance with the IPA-Qualification
Seal. As
a result of this previous collaboration, the special know-how and because
of the increase in demand the acp - advanced clean production GmbH is the
exclusive partner of the Fraunhofer IPA in the marketing of services and
products in accordance to the IPA-Qualification. |
